| (1) The officers and servants of the Authority nay, without any such licence, permit or approval as nay be required by any other written law, maintain and use, on any premises lawfully occupied by the Authority for laboratory or experimental purposes, such installations, equipment, and materials as they may consider necessary or desirable for those purposes. |

| (2) The provisions of sub-section (1) shall not be deemed to relieve the Authority of responsibility for taking reasonable precautions for the safety and protection of persons and property or for liability 'or the consequence of the acts of its officers and servants in the course of their employment. |
