(1) The Chairman of the Board, a member, the Director of the Institute or any employee authorized in that behalf by the Board, may request any person to furnish information with regard to any matter within his knowledge relating to any movable or immovable property used or intended to be used for agricultural development or connected or incidental thereto. |

(2) Any person who fails, without reasonable cause, to comply with the provisions of sub-section (1) or who furnishes information knowing such information to be false, shall be guilty of an offence under this Act. |
