2.
| (1) There may be appointed for the purposes of this Act by name or by office, a Commissioner of Internal trade (hereinafter referred as the "Commissioner"). |

| (2) There may be appointed by name or by office such number of Deputy Commissioners and Assistant to Commissioners of Internal Trade, and other officers as may be necessary for the purposes of this Act. |

| (3) Every Deputy Commissioner or Assistant Commissioner shall in the exercise of his powers, the discharge of his duties or the performance of his functions, be subject to the general direction and control of the Commissioner. |
|
| (4) Every Deputy Commissioner or Assistant Commissioner may subject to the general direction and control of the Commissioner, within the area of his jurisdiction exercise, discharge on perform all or any of the powers, duties or functions vested in, imposed upon, or assigned to, the Commissioner by or under this Act. |
