(1) The employer of persons under the age of eighteen years in a public or private industrial undertaking shall keep exhibited, in some conspicuous place within the premises in which that undertaking is carried on, the provisions of this Part relating to persons under the age of eighteen years together with a translation of those provisions in Sinhalese and Tamil. |

(2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) of this section shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction after summary trial before a Magistrate, be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty rupees or, in the case of a second or subsequent offence, not exceeding two hundred rupees. |
