18.
| (1) Any person found guilty of an offence under this Act, shall be liable, on conviction after summary trial by a Magistrate to imprisonment of either description for a Period not exceeding five years or to a line not exceeding ten million rupees or to both such imprisonment and fine. |

| (2) Where an offence under this Act is committed by a body of persons then-
| | (a) if that body of persons is a body corporate, every director and officer of that body corporate; | | |
| | (b) if that body of persons is a him, every partner of that firm, . | | |
