5. Section 22 of the principal enactment is hereby amended, by the substitution, for subsection (1) thereof, of the following new subsection: -
| " (1) Any officer appointed under section 2 (1) may, if he has reason to believe that any offence under this Ordinance has been committed, seize and detain any fishing boat, or any fishing net or stake, or other equipment or instrument or any vehicle used in or in connection with the commission of the offence, or any fish in respect of which the offence is believed to have been committed.". |
