Government Quarters (Recovery of Possession) (Amendment) Law (No. 40 of 1974) - Sect 2

Replacement of section 5 of Act No. 7. of 1969

2. Section 5 of the Government Quarters (Recovery of Possession) Act, No. 7 of 1969 (hereinafter referred to as the "principal enactment ") is hereby repealed. and the following new section substituted therefor: -
5. The Secretary to the Ministry in charge of the subject of public administration may at any stage withdraw any quit notice or suspend its operation for such period as he deems fit.".
