49. Section 84 of the principal enactment is hereby repealed and the following section is substituted therefor: -
| 84. Upon the death of a permit holder who at the time of his or her death was paying rent under sub-section (2) of section 19A for the land alienated to him or her on the permit, then-
| | (a) if that permit-holder is survive by his or her spouse, the spouse shall be entitled to succeed to that land; | | |
| | (b) if that permit-holder is no survived by his or her spouse if the spouse does not succeed to the land, any other person who is a duly nominate successor of the deceases permit-holder shall be entitled to succeed to that land on such person obtaining a permit from the Government Agent under the provisions of this Ordinance to occupy that land.". | | |
