Taking wreck to a foreign port

Any person who takes into any foreign port and there sells any vessel, whether stranded, derelict or otherwise in distress, found in Ceylon or any part of the cargo or apparel thereof or anything belonging thereto, or any wreck found in Ceylon shall be guilty of an offence and on conviction thereof shall be liable to a fine not exceeding four thousand rupees, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years, or to both such Me and imprisonment. |
