Measurement Units, Standards And Service Act (No. 35 of 1995) - Sect 48

Evidence of possession

48. For the purpose of this Act any weight or measure or weighing or measuring instrument which is found in the possession of any person who carries on any trade, or an any premises used by any person for the purposes of any trade, shall, until the contrary is proved, be deemed to be in the possession of that person for use in trade.
