Power of the Authority to call for information

32.
(1) The Board or any officer of the Authority, duly authorized in writing in that behalf by the Board may by notice in writing, require any person to furnish to the Board or to that officer within such time as may be specified in that notice, all such information within the knowledge of that person and relating to any matters specified in that notice as may be necessary to enable the Board to exercise and discharge the powers and functions of the Authority under this Act.
(2) Any person who-
(a) willfully fails to comply with the requirements of a notice given under subsection (1); or
(b) furnishes any information, which to his knowledge is false, when required to furnish any information by a notice given under subsection (1); or
(c) willfully omits any matter from any information furnished by him in compliance with the requirements of a notice given under subsection (1),
