The long title of the National Environmental Act, No. 47 of 1980 (hereinafter referred to as the "principal enactment") is hereby amended by the substitution for the words " for the protection and management of the environment ", of the words " for the protection, management and enhancement of the environment, for the regulation, maintenance and control of the quality of the environment; for the prevention, abatement and control of pollution". |
