Passport (Regulation) and Exit Permit Act (No. 53 of 1971) - Sect 2

This Act to prevail over other written law

2. The provisions of this Act shall be in addition to, and not in derogation of, the provisions of any other written law: Provided however that, in the event of. any inconsistency or conflict between the provisions of this Act and the provisions of any other written law, the provisions of this Act shall to the extent, and to the extent only, of such inconsistency or conflict, prevail over the provisions of such other written law.
