Police Commission Act (No. 1 of 1990) - Sect 17

Provincial Division to assist National Division

17. Upon the declaration of an emergency to a Province the Provincial Division of that Province shall assist the National Division in the investigation of offences, when required to do so by the Inspector-General of Police.
