| 18. The Inspector-General of Police may give such initiative directions, not inconsistent with the provisions of any written law, as appear to him to be necessary or expedient for the purpose of removing any difficulties that may arise in the implementation of the provisions of this Act. It shall be the duty of any public officer to whom a direction has been issued under this section to comply therewith. |
