Protection Of The Rights Of Elders Act (No. 9 of 2000) - Sect 2

Establishment of the National Council for Elders

2.
(1) There shall be established a Council called the National Council for Elders (hereinafter referred to as the "Council")
(2) The Council shall, by the name assigned to it by subsection (1). be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and he sued in such name.
