6. Section 58 of the principal enactment is hereby amended, in subsection (2) of that section, as follows : -
| (i) in paragraph (a) of that subsection, by the substitution, for the words " the Council shall be the successor ", of the words " the Council or, where the Council has been dissolved under section 277 of the Municipal Councils Ordinance and a Special Commissioner or Special Commissioners is or are appointed under that section, such Special Commissioner or Special Commissioners shall be the successor or successors " ; |

| (ii) in paragraph (b) of that subsection, by the substitution, for the words " the Council ;", of the words " the Council or Special Commissioner or Special Commissioners ; " ; |
|
| (iii) in paragraph (c) of that subsection, by the substitution, for the words " the Council ; ", of the words " the Council or Special Commissioner or Special Commissioners ; " ; |
|
| (iv) in paragraph (d) of that subsection, by the substitution, for the words " fund of the Council; ", of the words " Municipal Fund ; " ; |
|
| (v) in paragraph (e) of that subsection, by the substitution, for the words " the Council; ", of the words " the Council or Special Commissioner or Special Commissioners ; " ; and |
|
| (vi) in paragraph (f) of that subsection, by the substitution, for the words " the Council. " , of the words " the Council or Special Commissioner or Special Commissioners . " . |
