| (1) Regulations may be made under this Act prescribing a Code comprising such provisions as may appear to the authority empowered to make such regulations necessary and proper for the purposes of the regulation, supervision, classification, inspection and control of the establishment, maintenance and operation of tourist services, consisting of tourist hotels (in this Act referred to as the " Tourist Hotels Code "). |

| (2) Without prejudice to the generality of the powers conferred by sub-section (1), regulations made under this Act prescribing the Tourist Hotels Code may make provisions in respect of all or any of such matters for the time being specified in the Fourth Schedule as may be necessary or appropriate for the purposes referred to in sub-section (1). |
