Decisions and acts of Village Councils. [ 4, 60 of 1938.]
29. All acts whatsoever, authorized or required by this Ordinance or any other written law to be done by any Village Council, shall be decided upon by the majority of members present at any meeting of the Council held in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance : Provided that when the votes of the members present at any meeting are equally divided on any question brought up for decision, the Chairman, Vice-Chairman or other member presiding over that meeting shall, in addition to his vote as a member, have also a casting vote. |
